U.N RO-RO has two lines between Turkey and Italy, Pendik-Trieste and Mersin-Trieste. U.N. Ro-Ro Pendik Ro-Ro Terminal is located in Istanbul Anatolian Region and Mersin International Port is in southern Turkey. All vessels departing from these ports arrive at port of Trieste, Italy. U.N RO-RO also has a line between Turkey and France. Vessels depart from Ambarlı LİMAK Ro-Ro Terminal located in Istanbul European Region and arrive at Port of Toulon. Pendik-Constanta: Pendik- Köstence line service continues with 3 sailings per week. Our vessels sail from Pendik to Constanta every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. From Constanta to Pendik every Monday, Thursday and Saturday nights. Port of Constanta has an important hinterland from Turkey to Romania and provides direct access to European countries. Pendik - Trieste: 240 trailer capacity Ro-Ro vessels, with a speed of 21 knots, depart for Trieste everyday from the Pendik port. Many transport companies from Istanbul and Anatolia use Pendik Ro-Ro terminal which is built on 103,000 square meters. Pendik Ro-Ro Terminal also has a fuel station that provides tax-free fuel to international transport companies that are entitled to use tax-free fuel as export subsidies. There are seven scheduled ships round trip from Pendik to Trieste every day of the week. Mersin - Trieste: Mersin-Trieste line was established in March 2009 and currently there are two vessels operating in this line, departing on Wednesdays and Saturdays from Mersin. Mersin-Trieste line is mostly used by international transport companies from Central Anatolia, Southeast Anatolia and Mediterranean Regions. Mersin line is a huge advantage for our customers who had to haul to Istanbul or Çesme in order to use the Ro-Ro services to Trieste. Mersin Port Authority and U.N Ro-Ro have taken the necessary action to provide duty-free fuel to export transporters and it is expected that the tax free fuel operations will start very soon. It is expected that the number of vessels on the Mersin-Trieste line will increase to three vessels once the tax free fuel operations have started. Ambarlı - Toulon Ambarlı-Toulon line service continues with 2 sailings per week. Our vessels sail from Ambarlı and Toulon on Wednesdays and Sundays. Sailing time is 72 hours. The truck drivers are transferred to Toulon by Air Adria after making a stop at Trieste. Port of Toulon has a large hinterland and provides easy access to France, Spain, Portugal and United Kingdom. |
