Formula 1 Turkish Grand Prix took place in İstanbul between August 19-21. Most of the equipment used in the organization was transported by U.N Ro-Ro vessels. 174 trailers were carried by U.N Ro-Ro vessels for the Turkish Grand Prix. All the equipment and the race cars were carried from Trieste to Pendik by August 15, 2005. The proximity of the Pendik Port to İstanbul Park was convenient for logistic companies and the event organizers.

U.N Ro-Ro carried the equipment for  FIA, Ferrari, MC Laren, Honda Racing, Renault, Bar Honda, Red Bull, Ferrari/Sauber, Minardi, SAT, Sun, Britgestone, RAI, Pro Car UK, Fom TV, Edwards Hos. Bridg. Edwards Exel, Edwards, Edwards H. Jordan, Allsport Management Trieste, Transcamion, H. Ferrari, BBC, Williams, Michelin, Exel/Mark Hutton, Alfacam, CSA, Plantizer De, HN Autotransport, David Price Racing, Superonova, Arden International, Art Grand Prix, BCN Competition, Compos Racing, Coloni Motorsport, Dams, Durango, Hi Tech Piquet, Racing Engineering, Mader, Transcamion.

RODER member Unkar International Transport carried most of the equipment. Unkar also carried the equipment for the UEFA Champions Leage final  that took place in İstanbul.
