The capacity of 1.425.693 lanemeters (91.980 units) in 483 trips in 2005 will be increased to 1.790.122 lanemeters (115.491 units) in 558 trips in 2006. Moreover, 130 trailer-capacity vessels (departing from Trieste on Saturdays) will be replaced by 200 trailer-capacity vessels. Our 130 trailer capacity vessel will depart from Istanbul, make a stop at Bari and depart from Trieste on Sunday to Istanbul. These changes will increase Trieste capacity by (70+130) 200 units and congestion problem at Trieste will be over.
